Student Group Registration Form

Around the world, young people continue to lead the movement for human rights and social change! One of the best ways to learn more about global issues – and work to protect human rights – is to join Amnesty International USA and bring human rights activism into your community. As a young person, there are many ways to get involved. By starting or joining a campus chapter you help educate your campus about current human rights issues and take action. If you don’t have a group in your area, the Student Action Network is a national group of young people taking action and learning more about activism and leadership for human rights. Wherever they are, youth and student activism is a critical part of Amnesty’s global network of over 7 million activists, members and supporters, and we look forward to working with you!

Register a New Amnesty Group

Whether virtual or in person, Amnesty chapters are active at close to 600 colleges and high schools (and some elementary and middle schools!) across the country. These groups are youth-led, faculty-supported, and aligned with AIUSA’s human rights research, education and advocacy. Groups carry out education about human rights issues and take action to make a change. All groups are supported by experienced organizers and provided with tools and resources to build a human rights presence in their community. This form is for groups based in the United States. Please contact [email protected] if you’re interested in getting involved outside of the U.S.!
